- History: Constructed in 1464 AD by the Maharaja of Parmar Rajputs and supported by the Chauhans of Ajmer, Neemrana Fort Palace was later converted into the first heritage hotel in India during the mid-1970s. It was abandoned in 1947 but was acquired and restored into an exquisite resort near Delhi, opening its doors to guests in 1991.
