Barely couple of years after India’s bloody partition in 1947, the battered Kohli family with its meagre resources chartered into Chandigarh, the new capital of Punjab in making. Trusting the promising vision of Pandit Nehru and Sardar Kairon, the Kohli Brothers built Aroma and gave the new city its first commercial building.
